Signature Print Services was founded in June, 1995. The founders, Peter Martin and Meifang Xu set up the business as a Sole Proprietorship and operated the business out of their residence until August 2001.

Initially the business operated as a Print Brokerage, purchasing printing from print manufacturers and reselling the printing to end users in the commercial sector. As the business grew Signature Print Services broadened the range of products provided to include advertising specialties in addition to printing.

Employees and equipment were added as the company grew so that the customers could be better and more profitably serviced. Development of our Graphics Department and purchase of a Large Color Output Printer are examples of this growth.

In January, 2000 the legal entity of Signature Print Services was changed to a Limited Liability Company and the name of the company became Signature Print Services, LLC.

Signature Print Services purchased the assets of Caltron Publications Inc. in August 2001 and moved all operations to Caltron's location. The employees of Caltron were offered employment with Signature Print Services and the company became a combination of the two.

In May 2003 the company changed entities again, this time becoming an S-Corporation.

In October 2004 the company expanded and moved to the current San Jose location at 825A South Fifth Street, San Jose, California.

In April 2005 the company acquired the assets of The Printing Press in San Mateo. The employee of The Printing Press was offered employment with Signature Print Services and the process of merging the two companies into the San Jose location took place.
